A few of the places we love most around 30A & Santa Rosa Beach — easygoing, family-friendly, and worth the trip.

We get asked all the time where to eat and what to do nearby, so we put together this little list of our personal favorites. Most of these spots are relaxed and great with kids, so you can settle in and enjoy your stay. If you ever have questions, just reach out — we’re always happy to help!

The Salty Bottle & Brew

Amazing coffee and a cozy place to settle in for a bit.

Thomas Donut & Snack Shop

A go-to for donuts in the morning — and we also love it for pizza at sunset. You can walk over to catch the sunset while your dinner cooks!

Another local favorite for a sweet start to the day.

A great pick when you’re in the mood for Mexican food.

The Big Chill 30A

Food and entertainment in one spot, and very kid-friendly. It’s a popular place, so expect it to be busy in high season.

North Beach Social

Casual outdoor dining right on the bay, with an amazing sunset view and a play area for the kids.

Sweet Treats

Pecan Jacks Ice Cream & Candy

The best ice cream, hands down. A new location is opening soon within walking distance of the house — but until then, it’s well worth the short drive.

Things to Do with the Family

Lake Powell Park

Right within walking distance of the house — a favorite for taking the kids fishing, plus swings, kayaking, and a basketball court. An easy, no-fuss outing any day of your stay.

Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show

A big hit with the kids — dinner and a show all in one.

Topgolf — Panama City Beach

A fun afternoon or evening out for the whole group. Worth the drive over to PCB.

The Big Chill 30A & North Beach Social

Both are listed above under dining, but they’re also wonderful when you want a meal plus a little built-in entertainment for the little ones.

Our Favorite Beaches

The Beach in Front of Thomas Donut & Snack Shop

One of our favorite spots — you can use the restroom and grab food right there, which makes a beach day with little ones so much easier.

Beach Access 95

Another lovely spot to set up for the day.

Inlet Beach Regional Access

A very popular access point with restrooms and parking. It can get crowded in high season, so arriving early is a good idea.

Carousel Supermarket

Stop in for our favorite chicken salad, and enjoy browsing the cute boutique inside while you’re there.
